URGENT MESSAGE TO PARENTS WITH CHILDREN THAT SWIM ON SUNDAYS AT CRESTWOOD & SMESTOW

On Sunday 24th September 2017, the West Midlands / Staffordshire will play host to a major new 100 mile cycling event – Velo Birmingham, which will see more than 15,000 cyclists come to the Midlands.

Cycling through areas of Staffordshire which includes Wombourne & the surrounding areas.

This event will mean a number of major road closures which will directly affect Wombourne & surrounding lanes – this will make travelling to Smestow & Crestwood extremely difficult.

Because this event is completely out of our control we have no alternative but to CANCEL all SWIMMING LESSONS on that day, we believe a large number of our parents will struggle to get to the pools.

Please be advised we have not taken this decision lightly and have written with our concerns to our local MP!

Regarding the missed lesson, we intend to knock off the missing week off the enrolment for the next course so no one should be concerned that they are missing out financially.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused but we are sure you can appreciate this event is completely beyond our control.
